• We've done so many exciting projects in Pre-K this month.

We read the book, Elmer by David McKee. Then the students designed their own elephants for the Elmer's Day Parade.

We also read the book, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin, Jr. and John Archambault. The students colored their coconut trees and added letters on and under the tree.

Also, we read a non-fiction book about pumpkins. The children learned how pumpkins grow from seeds, and are considered gourds. Then they used glue and tissue-paper squares to design their own pumpkins. They all did a fantastic job.

In honor of Halloween, we read a book about monsters. We also learned about different shapes, and created shape pictures. Some children made shape monsters.
